A public meeting entitled: “Women and Stereotypical Professions” was organized by the Life-Long Learning and Career Development of Caucasus International University on March 12.
Successful women of various professions: winemaker - Ia Imerlishvili; The driver of emergency medical services - Nana Mamukashvili; Associate Professor of the School of Computer Science - Ia Mosashvili; Construction supervisor - Maka Nozadze and corporal-specialist - Lika Utrugashvili discussed the examples of personal success stories, finding oneself in a stereotypical profession and raising motivation/interest in girls.
The invited guests discussed with the audience what benefits and/or dangers may accompany decision-making in the process of mastering a new profession.
The meeting was moderated by Mariam Jachvadze, head of CIU Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service.
