The eco-friendly bag initiative “Chako”, developed by students of Caucasus International University under the Junior Achievement project/business idea “Construction Through Social Entrepreneurship”, has successfully progressed to the second stage of a grant competition.
On December 4, Eka Gegeshidze, Director General of Junior Achievement - Georgia, paid a work visit to CIU Business Incubator. The meeting was attended by Ketevan Nanobashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology, Ia Nadirashvili, Head of the Business Incubator and Trainer at Junior Achievement and student members of the incubator. During the meeting, Eka Gegeshidze congratulated “Chako” team on their achievement and provided relevant recommendations.
It is worth mentioning that “Chako” team successfully completed the acceleration phase of their social enterprise on the Business Incubator platform and has now advanced to the mentoring phase, which covers three months. The team members are actively working on refining their business idea and model, as well as focusing on the technical details and design of their product.
