Niko Tatulashvili, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Georgia on Human Rights, met with the students of the Faculty of Law of Caucasus International University (CIU) at the Chancellery of the Government of Georgia on April 7.
The meeting was attended by George Khatidze, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Caucasus International University and Giorgi Pareshishvili, Advisor to the Rector of the University.
During the meeting, the Advisor to the Prime Minister introduced the students to the legal mechanisms for the protection of human rights in Georgia, the legislative framework and strategic policy documents. He also focused on the steps taken by the Government of Georgia in the field of human rights protection and reviewed the ongoing legal processes that are the basis for ensuring equality in the country.
The last part of the meeting was dedicated to the active discussion, where the cooperation of students with international and local partners, the process of creating policy documents and the future plans of the state in the field of human rights were discussed.
