On March 6, the viticulture and winemaking week offered by Caucasus International University began for the pupils of the 10th, 11th and 12th grades.
The project was opened with a tour of CIU Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking, which was led by the coordinator of the faculty, the general manager of winery “Ethno Okami” Lasha Bodaveli.
The first lecture of the week was delivered by Associate Professor Olani Gotsiridze, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking of CIU, on the topic: “Historical Perspective of Viticulture and Winemaking”.
In the project, which lasts from March 6 to 10, the trainees will get to know the main aspects of viticulture and winemaking and tasting.
