From October 9 to 15, a new annual festival – “Wine Days in Georgia” will be celebrated throughout Georgia.
On October 12, the event was hosted by the Jighaura Scientific-Research Center of Agricultural.
A joint open lecture was held by Professor Davit Maghradze, the head of the scientific direction of the Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking of CIU, and Davit Lortkipanidze, the Director General of the Georgian National Museum, on the topic: “Georgia, the Homeland of Wine”.
The head of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, CIU Professor, Levan Ujmajuridze also addressed the guests.
The guests had the opportunity to taste wines and visit various exhibition spaces within the framework of the festival.
The event was attended by Olani Gotsiridze, Dean of the Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking of Caucasus International University, the faculty administration and students.
