On November 18, a public lecture on the topic: Georgia vs. Russia in International Courts was organized by the Faculty of Law at Caucasus International University.
The lecture was led by Levan Meskhoradze, the expert of the Council of Europe, the representative of Georgia at the Strasbourg court in the August War case.
The speaker discussed the current and completed cases of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and the International Criminal Court in The Hague regarding the Russia-Georgia war. He spoke about the role of the Council of Europe in the direction of human rights protection and the international legal levers of Georgia.
The public lecture was attended by the administration and students of the Faculty of Law.
