Masterclass: Effective CV Writing and Successful Interviewing Was Held at CIU

A masterclass on the topic: Effective CV Writing and Successful Interviewing was held within the framework of the project – Step to a Successful Career on March 14, 2019. The masterclass was conducted by Ms. Mariam Lotsulashvili, Recruitment Manager of Palitra Media Holding and Nino Marekhashvili, Personnel Development Manager.

During the masterclass the speakers placed emphasis on such significant issues as: general business skills; assessing one’s own abilities; preparing application documentations; preparing documents for a specific vacancy; skills, which a potential employer is looking for; CV and Resume and their peculiarities; CV as means for self-presentation; main components of CV and its structure; how to prepare for a job interview; the role of social media in recruitment process, etc.

The presenters shared practical advice with students and introduced the current vacancies announced by Holding towards the end of the event.

It is worth mentioning that the project Step to a Successful Career is organized by CIU Career Development Service. A number of interesting events are planned for the near future.
