On May 10, the Faculty of Business and Technology of Caucasus International University hosted Valentin Vittori Romero, professor of the Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting of the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain).
Valentin Vittori Romero conducted a workshop for students, academic and administrative staff on the topic “Introduction to Blockchain from an Economic Perspective”.
Before the start of the workshop, the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology, Ketevan Nanobashvili, and the head of the Doctoral Program in Business Administration, Tea Kasradze, welcomed the guests and the audience.
The invited guest discussed blockchain technologies and its integration in the banking and financial sphere. He placed emphasis on the positive aspects of blockchain technology, threats and its significance for the economy.
The workshop was held in interactive mode.
