A cultural tour introducing modern Iran has been organized in order to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Islamic Revolution from January 28 to February 6, 2019. The event was organized for the academic personnel of the foreign university by Iranian University of Religions.
More than 30 university professors from 20 countries became engaged in the above mentioned tour. The representatives of England, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Romania and other countries were involved in the event together with Georgians.
Ms. Maya Kapanadze, CIU Associate Professor from Georgia, Head OF Scientific-Analytical Centre for Georgian and Iranian Relations participated in the cultural tour introducing modern Iran.
The academic personnel organized meetings with the professors of the local universities and visited five cities – Tehran, Qom, Kashan, Isfahan and Mashhad.
Seminars on Islamic Revolution and in general Islam issues have been held within the framework of the visit.
The cultural tour started in Tehran and ended in Mashhad. Upon the completion of the event, the professors participating in the tour were awarded certificates.
