A screening of the film (documentary series) “The Nation and the Press” was organized towards the end of the lecture. This is a story about the Georgian-language press, which in a short historical period was able to radically alter self-esteem of Georgians, cultural needs and perception of the outside world; How the modern Georgian literary language, the almost lost sense of national unity and critical thought were born in the smoky rooms of publishing houses, printing houses and editorial offices.
Caucasus International University students of the journalism program received from the speaker both advice and recommendations on journalistic activities, as well as answers on the questions they were interested in at the end of the meeting.
