A memorandum of understanding was signed between Caucasus International University and the National Wine Agency on December 26.
The memorandum envisages cooperation between the parties in the scientific-research direction, joint events and practice/employment of students of the Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking.
The document was signed by Caucasus International University Rector, Kakhaber Kordzaia, and the chairman of the National Wine Agency, Levan Mekhuzla.
On the same day, the university administration congratulated Levan Ujmajuridze, professor of the Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking, on his election as an academician of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Georgia.
Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, the chancellor of the university, and Olan Gotsiridze, the dean of the Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking, discussed the recent successes of the faculty and outlined future plans at the meeting.
Administrative/academic staff and students of the university attended the event.
