Tinatin Nibloshvili, Deputy Chair of Tbilisi City Assembly and Head of the Gender Equality Council of Tbilisi Municipality met the students of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences and Humanities of Caucasus International University.
Tinatin Nibloshvili, Deputy Chair of the Assembly, gave CIU students a tour of Tamar King Hall, Dimitri Kifiani Session Hall, Alphabet Square and provided information about the history of the Assembly building.
Levan Zhorzholian, Chair of the Commission for Legal Affairs and Human Rights Protection, focused on human rights and legal issues at the meeting with CIU students. In addition, he discussed the work of the municipality and the role of self-government, while Archil Gorduladze, Deputy of the Assembly informed the students about the importance of self-government, the functions and duties of the council and provided information on internship programs.
The meeting took place in an interactive mode. The students’ questions referred to the involvement of citizens in the activities of the municipality and the implementation of various projects.
