1. “Study of the Clinical Application Potential of Janashia-Lagvilava Algorithm to Determine the Epileptic Focus Based on Relevant Quantitative Data”.
Caucasus International University is a co-participant and co-funding organization of the project.
The budget of the project is defined by 254,300 GEL, and the implementation period is three years.
The project manager is CIU professor, leading specialist in the field, Sophio Kasradze!
The Janashia-Lagvilava algorithm turned out to be quite successful in the process of pilot clinical research, which was implemented within the framework of the internal fundamental research grant offered by Caucasus International University. However, since a pilot study based only on scant data could not ensure the possibility of establishment and wide clinical use of this method, a larger-scale research project was prepared and submitted to Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. Caucasus International University was actively involved in this project as a co-sponsor.
The project is collaborative, as it engages several collaborating organizations and researchers, namely:
Researchers:
Lasha Ephremidze – Mathematician, Researcher at A. Razmadze Mathematical Institute of I. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University
Tamar Gagoshidze – Neuropsychologist, Professor at TSU Faculty of Psychology
Giorgi Lomidze – Neurologist/Neurovisualist, Associate Professor at European University
Giorgi Japaridze – Clinical Neurophysiologist, Doctor of Medical Science, Head of the Neurophysiological Laboratory of the Institute of Neurology and Neuropsychology
The highly cited international researcher, Dr. Mukesh Damala, Associate Professor of Physics and Neuroscience at Atlantic State University (USA), an expert in Biological Physics, Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering, is involved in the project.
2. “The Relationship of Formal Institutional Variables with the Determinants of Entrepreneurial Orientation on the Example of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises: Contextualization of Factors Taking into Account Country and Organization Characteristics during International Entry.
The project received 49 (out of 50) points and is at the top of the winning projects with three similarly rated projects!
Caucasus International University is the leading and co-funding organization of the project.
The co-participant and partner organizations of the project are the Institute of Business Studies and Education and Small and Medium Enterprises Association in Georgia.
The project budget is defined by 194,400 GEL, and the implementation period is three years.
The project manager is Associate Professor of CIU, Shorena Kurdadze.
Project researchers are:
Kakhaber Kordzaia – Professor at CIU Faculty of Business and Technology
Tea Kasradze – Professor at CIU Faculty of Business and Technology
Vakhtang Chkareuli – Associate Professor at BTU
Two internationally highly cited researchers involved in the project: Aleksandre Ardishvili, Professor at the University of Minnesota (USA), from the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy and Development, and Antonella Zucchella, Professor at the University of Pavia (Italy) in the direction of international business.
