On November 30, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Caucasus International University and the State Council of Heraldry at the Parliament of Georgia.
The document envisages active scientific cooperation between the parties, student practice and joint events. The memorandum of mutual understanding was signed by Caucasus International University Rector, Kakhaber Kordzaia, and the chairman of the State Council of Heraldry, Mamuka Gongadze.
After signing the document, Mamuka Gongadze held a public lecture on the topic: “State Policy of Heraldry”, where the speaker reviewed the history of the creation of the state flag and coat of arms, as well as the flags/coats of arms of autonomous republics, various municipalities and state structures, and discussed their content.
In addition, it should be noted that a thematic exhibition was organized in the lobby of the university, where the current state symbols and medieval European portolans are exhibited.
