Selfless Blood Donation Campaign: Donate Blood, Save Life Will Be Held at CIU

The selfless blood donation campaign: “Donate Blood, Save Life” will be held at Caucasus International University on June 15.

Selfless donation campaigns are constantly implemented by the USA, the European Union and other countries, and the main purpose is the promotion of saving lives.

Remember that one blood donation can save up to three lives.

In the selfless blood donation campaign: “Donate Blood, Save Life”, the following free health screening and blood tests are performed for all donors:

all participating donors will undergo the following tests free of charge:

• Blood type and Rhesus factor
• Hemoglobin
• B and C Hepatitis
• AIDS
• Syphilis

All donors will individually receive their blood test results in a sealed envelope, and if necessary, blood and its components will be freely supplied to them and their family members in any territory of Georgia.

Selfless donation act allows people to determine their health status and refer to appropriate institutions in a timely manner.
