The first meeting of “Finance Week” was held at Caucasus International University on May 2.
It should be noted that “Finance Week” is a project organized by CIU Faculty of Business and Technology, which aims to provide students of the Undergraduate Program in Finance with practical knowledge about the current business environment, opportunities and challenges related to it.
At the panel discussion held within the framework of crowdfunding, the topic “Crowdfunding – Innovative Financial Resources for Startup Entrepreneurs” was discussed by the speakers: Khatuna Sandroshvili, (Innovation Specialist, United Nations Development Program);
Mariam Mirotadze (Head of Crowdfunding Association of Georgia) and
Revaz Barbakadze (Participatory Governance Expert, Dead of Rustavi Innovation Hub).
The speakers discussed the importance of crowdfunding, its types and, in this regard, the platforms available in Georgia at the meeting.
Speakers at the panel discussion were introduced by the head of CIU Doctoral Program in Business Administration, Professor Thea Kasradze, students of CIU Faculty of Business and Technology also participated in the discussion.
