The European Union and Georgia have been cooperating since Georgia restored its independence in 1991. This cooperation started with "EU-Georgia Partnership and Cooperation Agreement" and continues with a more ambitious "EU-Georgia Association Agreement".
The aim of the Association Agreement is the deepening of political and economic relations between Georgia and the European Union. With this goal our citizens are facing the new challenge of getting closer to EU standards.
Contradictory information is being spread concerning the Association Agreement between the European Union and Georgia.
The aim of the conference is on a scientific basis, using modern interdisciplinary research to show the advantages and disadvantages of the Association Agreement.
The conference will be attended by well-known Georgian and foreign scientists, experts, young researchers, as well as representatives of international organizations, governmental and non-governmental sectors.
One more goal of the CIU international scientific conference consists in stimulating scientific activities and developing productive professional relationships.
The interdisciplinary character of the conference is caused by its theme. The conference will include the following sections:

2. Section of Business and Economics;
3. Social Sciences Section.

Registration fee for the participants selected is as follows:
Foreign participants – 100 EURO;
Conference fee will be paid within 5 working days after the receipt of the confirmation and invitation letter by the participant. The participants are kindly requested to stick to the terms in order not to cause any delay in preparing for the conference. Materials sent after the deadline will not be considered.
