A course of lectures on the topic – “Alternative Methods to Solve Disputes: Private Arbitration” has been held at the university on the basis of the memorandum signed between Caucasus International University and Dispute Resolution Centre.
The course of lectures offered by Dispute Resolution Centre has been held in four stages and covered the following topics: initiating arbitration, forming tribunal, jurisdiction, essential details of arbitration, providing evidences, preparing oral trial, and preparation and arbitration decisions.
The course of lectures was delivered by the representatives of the centre Lasha Nodia and Giorgi Titberidze.
The course has been attended by about 60 CIU students of Law Faculty.
Ilia Tsiklauri, Dean of the Law faculty of Caucasus International University and Maka Nachkebia, Director of Dispute Resolution Centre awarded the students certificates at the concluding meeting.
