The aim of the conference was to facilitate the development of joint academic environment between Georgian and Iranian universities, stimulate scientific activities and develop professional relations.
About 30 professors from Georgian and Iranian higher educational institutions participated in the conference.
The papers were delivered on the following topic: “Power Perspectives of Iran-Georgia under “Post-Sanction” Conditions”, “Significant Issues for Speech Research of Iranian-Georgians”, “Women’s Rights in Accordance to the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran”, etc.
Khuzistan Georgian Amin Kezelbashian was a pioneer in making a presentation on Khuzistan Georgians at the event.
Mojtaba Kamran Fardi, head of the department of culture at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran attended the conference.
The professor of Ivane Javakshishvili Tbilisi State Unievrsity Institute of Asia and Africa and Teiran State University were among the honorary guests.
Upon the completion of the conference the participants were awarded certificates by Kakhaber Kordzaia, the University Rector and Mojtaba Kamran Fardi, head of the department of culture at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The conference was organized by Caucasus International University and supported by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
