About 600 students from Caucasus International University attended the final of “Georgian National Intellectual-Championship – Etalon 2016” on 21 May, 2014.

82 “Etalon-pupils” from every municipality of Georgia and 10 municipality government of Tbilisi were struggling for the title.
The organizing group of the final game was made up by the university students. Caucasus International University students of the faculty of social sciences, specializing in international relations, who attended the event, carried out the function of translators.
The event was also attended by honorary guests, among them were: Davit Narmania, Mayor of Tbilisi, and Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Sciences of Georgia.
Gocha Tkeshelashvili, the author and host of the project “Etalon” awarded them certificates.
The event started with a concert. One significant performance among other memorable moments was a song “Tbilisi” performed by Toshio Kaytan, Ambassador of Japan together with the ensemble “Adila”.
The second part of the event turned out to be very emotional. 82 participants, prize fund 30,000 GEL and three winners.
Speed together with knowledge – this was the main skill leading to success. Anri Paghava a pupil from Batumi municipality became a winner with 75 points (in 31.11 seconds) and was awarded 20, 000 GEL.
Polish Ambassador, Andrzej Cieszkowski awarded the prize and diploma to the winner.
Nia Shakarishvili took the second place with 70 points (in 36.43 seconds) a student from Kobuleti municipality. She was awarded 6,000 GEL.
Gaga Kvichiani, a student from Lentekhi municipality who took the third place with 70 points (in 92.79 seconds) was awarded 4,000 GEL.
