Studying Persian language and culture at the university – this was the topic that the representatives of SAAD Foundation, Said Darbandi and Soraia Khoram discussed with Kakhaber Kordzaia, Rector of Caucasus International University.
Both sides analyzed the prospects for the implementation of relevant issues.
The rector introduced CIU history and mission to the guests and mentioned the significance of collaboration between the university and Iran.
Said Darbandi, international issues coordinator of “SAAD Foundation” placed emphasis on language centre of the university and the addition of Persian language as an optional subject.
The guests talked about the issue of the acknowledgement of Caucasus International University diploma in Iran, scholarships and involvement of the most successful CIU students in a-month program of Persian language, in addition, they expressed their support towards the second international conference dedicated to political, economic and cultural relations between Georgia and Iran. It will be held on 7 June, 2016.
Mojtaba Kamranpardi, cultural attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who attended the above mentioned meeting, thanked CIU Rector and Maya Kapanadze, Iranian Critic for implemented and planned events.
The guests visited the Office of Iran founded at Caucasus International University towards the end of the meeting and vowed to enrich the library with various materials.
