A conference on the topic – “Prospects of Tourism Development in Georgia and World Experience” – was organized by Georgian National Tourism Administration.
At the first stage 74 abstracts and papers were presented from 22 universities. 40 papers were chosen for the second stage by the decision of the committee made up fourteen people. However, only 20 works from 13 universities appeared at the third stage.
CIU student, Tsitsi Tsatskrialashvili’s paper – “Program for the Development of Domestic Tourism” provoked interest, and correspondingly she became the favourite of two companies: JSC Initiative Society of Tourism Development and turebi.ge. They will facilitate the implementation of her project and offer internship.
The committee, who was responsible for the assessment of presentations, was made up of five people – Medea Janiashvili, Maia Tsereteli, Nino Kekelidze, Lasha Labadze and Giorgi Bregadze. According to their decision the first three places were distributed as follows: I place – Natia Goguadze, II – Nino Tsigroshvili and III – Giorgi Evsia.
The partner of the event, Caucasus International University awarded the owner of the first place, Natia Goguadze a free certificate course and presents.
Conference winners and participants were awarded certificates by Giorgi Chogovadze, Head of Georgian National Tourism Association.
