Caucasus International University Student Self-Government organizes a new project “Student Life”. The competition envisages sports and cultural activities and the winner participants and teams will take part in student days and competitions organized by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia.
Within the framework of the project CIU students will participate in such competitions as: Georgian folk song, chess, Debates, What? Where? When?, table tennis, volley ball, street football, arm-wrestling, sketches, modern songs, street basketball, billiards and paintball. The events will take place from 11 March till 20 April, 2016.
50 students participated in arm-wrestling on 1 April. The competition was held among left and right arm competitors in six weight categories.
As stated by Zura Kavtaradze, president of Student Self-Government, the arm-wrestling competition was held according to Olympic system. Four – first and second place winners among left and right arm competitors were selected in each weight category. In total 24 winners have been named.
