Reflexes, actions, exercise, good memory, prudence, a lot of supporters and acknowledgement – these are the common factors and skills which cyber sport has in common with other sport types. However, it has been struggling for a number of years to be considered as an official type.
On 24 March the students: Aleksandre Kalandadze, Natalia Bezhanishvili and Konstantine Ebralidze discussed the history of cyber sport, the prospects of its implementation at the university and the novelty of the informative era which is directly linked to computer games. The event venue was Conference Hall of Caucasus International University.
The interested students had an opportunity to emphasize the issues that were significant for them, express their position and ask questions to the presenters.
At the initial stage the group of presenters is planning to select interested students and organize a championship. The future plans are more wide-scale and long term.
