Vakhtan Tsivtsivadze, University Chancellor, Kakhaber Kordzaia, Rector, Marina Gedevanishvili, Head of Quality Assurance Centre and Vice-Rector, Maia Bitskinashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Nana Mdinaradze, Head of Georgian and English Programs in Dentistry met Caucasus International University 1-5 year students and residents of the Faculty of Medicine.
Nana Mdinaradze, Head of the program introduced the Program in Dental Therapy and discussed the specificity of teaching.
Marina Gedevanishvili, a Head of Quality Assurance Centre and Vice-Rector placed emphasis on academic personnel, local and outdoor practical classes and CIU material-technical base. In addition, she discussed the possibility of future employment of successful graduates as residents.
Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, CIU Chancellor focused on simulation centre, which represents a new, joint project of CIU and representatives of Israel. The centre will be established on the university base and students will have opportunity to attend lectures delivered by international Professors and in parallel with practical lessons take part in exchange programs in Israel.
Towards the end of the meeting, CIU students, Natia Kadaria was awarded a certificate of resident in Dental Therapy.
