Georgian National Tourism Administration organizes an international conference on the topic: “Tourism Development Prospects in Georgia and World Experience” on 15 April, 2016. BA, MA and PhD students from Georgian and International accredited universities can participate in the conference. The paper must deal with tourism in general or any particular field of tourism. Priority will be given to stimulation of any sphere in wine tourism or inner tourism as well as innovative ideas for the development of Georgian tourism.
Conference Aim:
To facilitate collaboration between universities and Georgian National Tourism Administration and to increase students’ involvement in tourism development in Georgia. The conference will give opportunity to students to conduct individual researches and offer new ideas to the main institution defining tourism policy in Georgia.
Important dates:
15 March – deadline for submitting thesis (1-2 pages).
18 March – selecting candidates and informing them.
3 April – deadline for submitting papers (5-10 pages).
10 April – selecting papers.
15 April – selecting winner on the basis of presentations and sent papers.
Students will present their works and afterwards a winner will be defined. They will be awarded special prize. In addition, selected works will be published together with the annual report of Georgian National tourism Administration in the proceedings “Tourism Development Prospects in Georgia and World Experience”. Conference participants will be awarded certificates. As the result of the conference there will be created a database of successful students and they will be taken into consideration for internship in Georgian National Tourism Administration or future employment.
