On 15 December Caucasus International University faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking Management organized Open Doors Day.
Speeches were delivered by Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, CIU Chancellor, Marina Gedevanishvili, Head of CIU Quality Assurance Service and Vice-Rector, Nino Chkhartishvili, Head of MA Program in Georgian Viticulture-Winemaking, Ketevan Jurkhadze, Deputy Chancellor and Kakhaber Jakeli, Head of CIU Business Faculty Quality Assurance Service in front of the attending audience, invited guests and students.
They placed emphasis on the foundation of the faculty, main components of the program, material-technical base, grant programs, academic staff, and memorandums signed with different entrepreneurs and leading international universities.
Unique Marani “Kolkhi” is functioning at the university in order to implement the practical component of MA program. The marani includes: open type Imerelian-Kolkhi, Iberian-Kakhetian and two-level Marani; 107 endemic species of vine and 62 Qvevris.
Attending audience had a chance to attend the presentation of the documentary film “Kolkhi” prepared by CIU Multimedia Centre at the Open Doors Day.
