Caucasus International University in partnership with Greens Movement of Georgia- Friends of the Earth – Georgia organize school educational project “Nature is Master”.
The Photo Contest has been planned within the framework of the project. Seventeen students from Tbilisi, Tetritskaro, Gardabani and Rustavi schools have participated in the event. The topic of the contest refers to the aim of the project “Nature is Master”: raising environment protection awareness and introducing the principles of green Economics.
The author and head of the project idea is Marine Ugulava. Not only committee members discussed the contest photo materials with the authors, but CIU Professors of journalism as well (Program supervisor – Nino Chalaganidze, Associate Professor – Sulkhan Meladze, Producer of Multimedia Centre – Rusudan Kvaratskhelia). Participants provided the contest committee with photos taken in accordance to project theme and their descriptions.
The evaluation-assessment of the contest photos took place on 5 December. Professors gave professional advice to the participants and discussed each photo with them. Future meeting has been planned, where the committee will name their favourite. Each contest participant received presents from CIU.
