    - What are the stages and in what sequence should the student pass the mobility?

    1. Sign up for mobility on electronic portal students.emis.ge
    2. Make an electronic application for mobility to fix your choice (Higher education institution, Educational program) and sort it according to priorities;
    3. Pay the mobility fee (40 GEL) in Bank of Georgia;
    4. To see mobility results in the portal log into personal registration window;
    5. In case of a positive response, immediately apply to the receiving higher education institution and submit copies of your personal case;
    6. See the number of credits recognized by the HEI and confirm the consent / declaration with a written statement.

     - When should students register on electronic portal and fill in an electronic application for the mobility process?

    Within the terms defined by the order of the director of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (please, visit electronic portal of the mobility students.emis.ge).

     - Who has the right to register on the portal?

    The right for registering on electronic portal has a person who is in the registry/base of educational institutions and has the status of an active student during one academic year.

     - Does a student whose student’s status is stopped or canceled has the right for the mobility?

    • A student whose student’s status is determined is entitled to mobility within 12 months after termination of the status;
    • A student whose student status is stopped has the right to benefit from the mobility process over 5 years after the status has stopped.
    • Prior to February 4, 2010, all ex-matriculated students are considered to be as suspended students and are entitled to benefit from the mobility process during 10 years from the date of ex-matriculation.

     - How does a student register on the e-portal?
    The student registers with the eleven-digit p / number on the electronic portal of mobility.

     - Where and when can the student see the results of mobility on the portal?
    After announcing the results of mobility, a student participating in the mobility can see his or her own results in the portal - in the personal registry window.
    Also, students will be informed with the short text message and email.

     - How is student enrolled in a higher education institution based on mobility?
    According to the electronic data, in case of obtaining the right of mobility (positive response), the student should immediately refer to the receiving higher education institution, within the timeframe established, and submit copies of the personal case.

    The university prepares conclusion project on the basis of submitted documentations concerning the recognition of students’ subjects.

    The university is obliged to introduce a recognition project to a student and approve the consent by signing the recognition document.

    After registration and signing recognition document the university prepares mobility enrolment project which is sent to National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement. After receiving consent from the Center Rector issued Decree on mobility enrollment.

     - What are the documents to be submitted to a recipient university by a student?

    A student who will be granted a right to be enrolled at Caucasus International University as the result of mobility has to register within the deadline defined by the university and submit the following documentations to the committee:

    Undergraduate/One-Cycle Programs:

    • A copy of ID/Passport;
    • 2 photos 3X4; a printed and electronic version on disk;
    • A copy of military conscription (for Georgian male citizens).
    • A copy of General Education Diploma;
    • An extract of enrolment order from previous university;
    • A document verifying student’s status from previous higher educational institution;
    • Transcript of records from previous educational institution approved by official stamp.

    Postgraduate Programs:

    • A copy of ID/Passport;
    • 2 photos 3X4; a printed and electronic version on disk;
    • A copy of military conscription (for Georgian male citizens).
    • A notarized copy of BA diploma and its supplement;
    • English Proficiency Certificate of B2 Level. In case of no certificate, an applicant has to take a diagnostic test at Caucasus International University Language Center;
    • An extract of enrollment order from previous university;
    • A document verifying student’s status from previous higher educational institution;
    • Transcript of records from previous educational institution approved by official stamp.

    Doctoral Programs:

    • A copy of ID/passport;
    • 2 photos 3X4; printed and an electronic version (on Disc);
    • A copy of military conscription (for male students only);
    • Applicant’s autobiography (information about education and work experience), CV;
    • A copy of Master’s Academic Degree and its supplement;
    • Certificate of Diploma authenticity issued by LEPL National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement;
    • A cover letter which will state the significance of research topic;
    • English Language Proficiency Certificate of B2 level. In case of no certificate an applicant has to take B2 level test at the University Language Centre. A person who has pursued his/her undergraduate or postgraduate studies in English does not need to submit a certificate;
    • An extract of enrollment order from previous university;
    • A document verifying student’s status from previous higher educational institution;
    • A document verifying work experience.
    • After the completion of the mobility procedure a student has to submit original General Education Diploma.

     - When is mobility procedure considered as finalized?

    After issuing a decree on the transfer of the student as the result of mobility by recipient higher educational institution.
