The Faculty Board is a collegiate body that define the activities of the faculty and its policy. The Dean serves as a chairperson of the Faculty Board. The Board consists of the Dean of the Faculty, the academic personnel selected at the faculty (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor) and the Quality Assurance Service specialist of the faculty.
The main directions of the Faculty Board activities are the following:
- Develop the main directions for the educational, scientific-research activities of the faculty;
- Plan scientific-research activities of the faculty;
- Prepare annual scientific reports in order to implement scientific researches, facilitate the integration of scientific-research and educational processes;
- Monitor the implementation of ongoing projects, including grant projects;
- Discuss different issues connected to the publication of prepared scientific literature;
- Estimate distribution of the faculty funds and submit it to the university management;
- Discuss new educational programs planned at the faculty, current programs and amendments to be made in the syllabus. The conclusion and the recommendation of the Board will be introduced to the head of Quality Assurance Service and Rector;
- Make a proposal and recommendations while working out University action plan;
Consider various current issues facing the faculty, which cannot be solved routinely.
