Interested individuals were offered a free consultation within the framework of “Euromelanoma 2024” at the Clinical Skills Center of Caucasus International University on May 13. The event was organized by “Georgian Association of Photodermatology and Skin Cancer”.
Euromelanoma is a pan-European campaign for skin cancer prevention that aims to give information to everybody on skin cancer prevention, early diagnosis and treatment.
Since 2012, Georgia has become a member country of the Euromelanoma campaign. Its organizer in Georgia is “Georgian Association of Photodermatology and Skin Cancer”, which unites dermatologists, oncologists, skin and soft tissue surgeons, and doctors working in aesthetic medicine.
“Euromelanoma – 2024” pays special attention to persons who have already suffered from skin cancer or melanoma, their medical care, social and psychological rehabilitation. Accordingly, this year’s slogan is “Live and learn”, as well as “Learn to live”.
