Father Giorgi Khonelidze met Caucasus International University students and administration in relation to student expeditions on July 23, 2019.
Student expeditions in Svaneti, Racha and Tusheti are organized by Georgian educational institutions, state organizations and orthodox church on August 3018, 2019. The main aim of the mission is educational (cognitive) and caring. Students will be given the opportunity to test themselves in an independent environment, meet locals, listen to their problems and discuss the solutions. In addition, they will have a chance to visit sights, get acquainted with the young people from other professions, touch and experience with them the modern condition of the mountainous regions of Georgia.
Father Giorgi introduced the project details to the university students and administration and answered their questions during the information meeting. Caucasus International University Chancellor, Mr. Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze expressed his complete support towards the project.
The maximum number of students from various educational institutions of Georgia engaged in the project will be 75. They will be divided into three groups, each group will be made up of 25 students, who will follow one concrete itinerary.
