On November 21, seniors from Polyglot School visited the Faculty of Medicine at Caucasus International University, exploring its infrastructure, laboratories, Clinical Skills Center, and library. During the visit, the students attended practical laboratory sessions in general biochemistry alongside first-year medical students, actively participating in the learning process.
They were introduced to advanced technologies and methodologies in biochemistry and molecular biology, practical works in microbiology and immunology labs and the equipment. In addition, they individually examined histological preparations under microscopes. The Clinical Skills Center aroused great interest, where they became familiar with the rules for working with medical training models. The pupils visited the university library, where the librarian spoke to them about the library structure, functions and capabilities.
