On February 20, the participants of the joint certificate course of Caucasus International University and University of Miskolc: “Social Dimension of the European Union” were awarded certificates.
Professor George Khatidze, Dean of the Faculty of Law of Caucasus International University, and Ekaterine Chalaganidze, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities addressed the participants at the beginning of the event.
Students of the Doctoral Educational Program in Law, Politics and Mass Communication participated in the certificate course. The mentioned course was led by University of Miskolc Professor Nora Jakab, PhD, who is also Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of Caucasus International University.
The social objectives of the European Union were discussed during the course, taking into account how the social dimension was developed and what role the social partners played in it. The latest legal decisions on social rights and security were analyzed.
The joint certificate course was implemented at the initiative of the Faculty of Law and organized by the Doctoral Service.
It should be noted that close collaboration with foreign universities in the research and educational direction is a priority for Caucasus International University.
University of Miskolc is a partner of Caucasus International University. A number of important joint projects have been implemented within the framework of the memorandum of understanding between the two universities.
