A certificate course “The Social Dimension of the European Union” was held (in online format) for CIU students of the faculties of Law and Social Sciences and Humanities from October 26 to November 1. The event was jointly organized by the Faculty of Law of Caucasus International University and the Faculty of Law of the University of Miskolc (Hungary).
The course was led by Nora Jakab, PhD, Professor at the University of Miskolc who is also Associate Professor at CIU Faculty of Law.
The social objectives of the European Union were discussed during the course, taking into account how the social dimension was developed and what role the social partners played in it. The latest legal decisions on social rights and security were analyzed.
It should be noted that close cooperation with foreign universities in the research and educational direction is a priority for Caucasus International University.
University of Miskolc is a partner university of Caucasus International University, and a number of joint projects have been implemented within the framework of the signed agreement.
