The place prizes were revealed in the educational project of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia – “The First Democratic Republic of Georgia” on May 20.
Tbilisi Public School N178 became the winner of the project. Kareli Public School N2 took the second prize place and Tbilisi Public School N175 occupied the third place. 32 public and private school teams participated in the final game of the project. The winners of the project were awarded by the Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia, Buba Lomuashvili, the Director General of the National Archives, Teona Iashvili, the representative of the Georgian emigration in France, Thierry Berishvili, a descendant of Noe Ramishvili and Mamia Berishvili, and Giorgi Pareshshvili, the Adviser to the Rector of Caucasus International University.
The National Archives laid the foundation for the educational project in 2015, which strives to provoke students’ interest in the history of our country from 1918-1921. It is conducted on the principle of an intellectual game “What? Where? When?”. The project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
It should be noted that Caucasus International University cooperated with the project for the first time and awarded one of the teams at the final event.
