On December 11, 2024, Professor Beka Kantaria, head of the Scientific-Research Institute of Constitutional Democracy at CIU Faculty of Law, was elected as a fellow of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences of Georgia in the field of law studies. This recognition followed a recommendation from the Department of Public Sciences of the Academy, in accordance with Article 11 of the Law of Georgia “On the Georgian National Academy of Sciences”.
According to the Article 10 of the Law of Georgia “On the Georgian National Academy of Sciences” a citizen of Georgia under the age of 50, a person holding PhD degree or its equivalent scientific degree, who is the author of scientific works performed at a high scientific level can become a scholarship holder of the Academy.
