A public lecture was held on the topic: “Human Rights and Criminal Law Themes in Cinematography”, on the joint initiative of the Faculties of Social Sciences and Law, at Caucasus International University on June 1.
The lecture was led by Gia Meparishvili, Professor of the Faculty of Law at Caucasus International University, and Soso Gazdeliani, a doctoral student of the educational program in Mass Communication, a correspondent of the Multimedia Center and an invited lecturer.
Within the framework of the lecture, a film screening was organized, where it was discussed how human rights and criminal law themes are expressed on the examples of such films as: “12 Infuriated Men”; “Nuremberg Trial”; “Short Film about Murder” and “Two in the City”.
It should be noted that the author of the review and audio review of the above-mentioned films is the producer of Caucasus International University Multimedia Center, Associate Professor, Rusudan Kvaratskhelia.
The meeting was attended by students, academic and administrative staff of CIU Faculty of Law and Social Sciences.
