On March 26, students of the fourth and fifth year of dentistry program at the Faculty of Medicine of Caucasus International University participated in the educational project – “I Brush My Teeth” - initiated by the Association of Periodontists of Georgia, “Lacalut” and “Aversi Pharma”.
The visit was paid to the fourth graders of the first experimental school of Tbilisi. The goal of the project is to raise awareness about oral hygiene from an early age.
It should be noted that CIU students constantly participate in similar projects. It is very important for them as future doctors and dentists.
The meeting was loaded with fun activities and useful information. The pupils showed great interest and were actively involved in the course of the presentation and participated in a fun quiz.
Each pupil received high-quality children’s oral care products of the German brand, “Lacalut” as a gift.
The visit was led by Professor Lela Tsitaishvili and Associate Professor Vera Khundzakishvili, head of the Dentistry program of the Faculty of Medicine at CIU.
