Caucasus International University Winery “Ethno Okami” product – “Chinese-Goruli Green” - is in “Granik’s Guide to Georgian Wines 2024”.
The guide reflects the latest trends in the Georgian wine industry. You will find basic information about producers, detailed wine overview, winemaking profile and current industry statistics, as well as information about places to eat, drinks and Georgian viticulture in the collection.
“Granik” is the first complete guide for buyers of Georgian bottled wines, which uses a non-standard evaluation system, and the products included in the collection are a guarantee of quality for industry experts.
The purpose of the guide is to introduce Georgian wineries and their products to wine buyers, enthusiasts and tourists both in Georgia and the world.
Both Qvevri and classic (European) wines, as well as all producers, regardless of their size, have equal status in the publication.
Before being included in the guide, the wines are blindly tasted and evaluated by an unbiased jury led by the famous American wine master Lisa Granik. By being included in the mentioned collection, the uniqueness and rich taste qualities of “Chinese-Goruli Greens” have been emphasized.
Please note that winery “Ethno Okami” products can currently be purchased in chain wine stores and bars. Despite the short history of its existence, the company has already managed to win several local and international awards in various categories. Practically, the company’s management and production are completely staffed by students and graduates of the Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking of Caucasus International University.
In addition to “Chinese-Goruli Greens”, winery “Ethno Okami” produces the following types of products: “Rkatsiteli”; “Khashmi Saperavi”; “Tankveri”; “Shavkapito”; and “Okami” (white and red).
