On May 24, Caucasus International University hosted a mock trial with the participation of the pupils of Tbilisi Public School 149 on the topic: “Review of the case of Tsitsikore Bakradze"
Before the start of the simulated process, the audience was greeted by Guram Gvinjilia, the head of the Undergraduate Program in Law at Caucasus International University, and Marine Ugulava, the coordinator of school and educational projects of the Public Relations Service.
Nana Mikava, the school principal and Natia Pkhaladze, the deputy principal, teacher of Georgian language and literature, made a speech on behalf of the school. They thanked the university administration for their support and wished success to the project participants.
As mentioned in the statement of the school, within the framework of the school project, the planning of a mock trial was determined by the need revealed in the ninth grade during the study of Giorgi Leonidze’s work, “Marita” in the current academic year, in order to promote the development of self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness and communication skills in pupils and to understand the responsibility for the decisions made.
