On July 19, students of the postgraduate program in Global Policy and Security Studies offered in English at Caucasus International University defended their master’s theses.
The thesis of each MA student was evaluated by a field committee consisting of experts and academic staff.
It should be noted that the chairman of the committee was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Georgia, Professor Mariusz Maszkiewicz.
The members of the committee were: Ekaterine Chalaganidze, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of CIU; Alika Guchua, Associate Professor, Head of CIU Undergraduate Program in International Relations; CIU Professor Maria Espona, Coordinator of the Ukrainian Science and Technology Center; Eka Beraya, CIU Associate Professor.
The defense of master’s theses was also attended by Vakhtang Maisaya, Professor, Head of the Postgraduate Program in Global Policy and Security Studies.
