The final event of “Global Entrepreneurship Week” was held at Caucasus International University. The week aims to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The meeting was opened by Ia Nadirashvili, the head of CIU “Business Incubator” and an event moderator.
The guests were welcomed by Marika Kldiashvili, the dean of CIU Faculty of Business and Technology, who discussed the significance of the week and thanked the invited companies for their participation.
The guests were also welcomed by Rati Zautashvili, the head of Business Relations Department of the UN Global Compact Georgia Network, and Tinatin Gholadze, a representative of Global Entrepreneurship Week in Georgia.
Within the framework of the final event, Levan Meskhishvili, the director of the Webapp company, made a presentation on the topic: “From an Idea to a Real Customer” and Irakli Chavlelishvili, the founder of the company – “Mzetamze – Natural Gemovani Bread”, on the topic: “The Future of Food Production - Harmless Food VS Nutritious Food”.
Twelve entrepreneurial companies took part in the week: “Artlab”, “Webapp”, “Baya”, “Guruli”, “Ketili da Patiosani” (Kind and Noble), “Makmani”, “Mzetamze”, “Poteria”, “Sizmara”, “Chizuka”, “Chirifruit” and “Drop La Goutte”.
It should be noted that on the last day of the week, the exhibition and sale of the products of the above-mentioned companies was held in the lobby of the university.
The week opened on November 15 with the training of Ia Nadirashvili, business trainer, on the topic: “Creative Thinking”, and on November 16 it continued with the training of business trainer Shalva Otanadze on the topic: “Effective Pitch”.
The Global Entrepreneurship Week was organized by the Faculty of Business and Technology of Caucasus International University and was held under the auspices of CIU “Business Incubator”.
A panel discussion was held among the representatives within the framework of the meeting.
