A public lecture on the topic: “History of Georgian Diplomacy” was delivered by Mikheil Ukleba, an ambassador and researcher of Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute, within the framework of Caucasus International University “Georgian Diplomacy Week” on November 8.
The speaker reviewed the first steps of the diplomacy of independent Georgia after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the main nuances of the political situation around the country at that time, and at the end of the lecture he answered the students’ questions.
“Georgian Diplomacy Week” is held on November 7-9 and aims to develop students’ professional skills in diplomacy.
The week is dedicated to the Day of Georgian Diplomacy (November 3), which is associated with a great Georgian patriot and diplomat, Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani.
