UNESCO announces call for proposals for 2022 Silk Roads Youth Research Grant. The program is initiated by UNESCO with the support of the National Commission of the People’s Republic of China for UNESCO. In order to obtain grant, proposed research may cover one or several themes associated with the Silk Roads shared heritage, as well as its internal diversity, and potential in contemporary societies for creativity, intercultural dialogue, social cohesion, regional and international cooperation, and ultimately sustainable peace and development.
12 research grants will be awarded to young researchers under 35 years of age. The deadline for submitting application is May 31. The grant awardees will be announced in September, 2022. The grant amount is $10,000. Applications should be submitted via email - silkroadsgrant@unesco.org, in English.
