On May 29, Caucasus International University basketball team “CIU BC Caucasus” was hosted by the administration of the university and congratulated on the vice-championship of Georgia.
Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, Caucasus International University Chancellor congratulated the basketball players and the team on this success. He thanked the team for all their efforts and many victories throughout the season. Mr. Tsivtsivadze once again confirmed the full support of the club on the part of the university, and introduced ambitious plans for the future.
Kakhaber Kordzaia, Caucasus International University Rector and the representatives of the university also congratulated the team on the achieved results.
In turn, the head coach of the team, Beka Tsivtsivadze and basketball player Nikoloz Gaprindashvili thanked the university for its support.
The team representatives were given symbolic gifts from the university towards the end of the event, and the representatives of the basketball club and the university administration signed commemorative autographs on the special banner created for the vice-champions.
