On October 6, Caucasus International University and the Global Wine Tourism Organization held a meeting with Davit Songhulashvili, the chairman of the Sectoral Economy and Economic Policy Committee of the Parliament of Georgia.
On behalf of Caucasus International University, the meeting was attended by the Deputy Rector, President of the Georgian Eno Tourism Association, Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, and the Advisor to Chancellor on Science and Innovation, Professor Zviad Gabisonia.
The parties discussed the prospects for the development of wine tourism in Georgia and the significance of the involvement of the Global Wine Tourism Organziation and the academic sector in it.
Within the framework of the meeting, the president of the Global Wine Tourism Organization, José Antonio Vidal, informed the parties about the activities of the organization in different countries of the world. The representatives of Caucasus International University discussed the vision of the university in the direction of the development of educational and scientific projects of wine tourism. In turn, the chairman of the committee introduced the strategic directions of wine tourism development to the guests.
