On February 9, a meeting with local government representatives of different cities and municipalities was held within the framework of Caucasus International University winter school.
The school pupils were met by Beka Vacharadze, Poti Mayor, Matsatso Narimanidze, Dusheti Municipality Mayor and Tengiz Mtvarelishvili, Telavi Municipality Assembly Chair.
The speakers talked about the development of their cities and municipalities, the problems and challenges of the local population, and in the second part of the meeting, they provided answers to the students’ questions.
The event was moderated by Giorgi Pareshishvili, Adviser to the Rector of Caucasus International University.
It is noteworthy that the pupils made group presentations about different municipalities within the scope of practical activities the previous day; therefore, the guests were introduced to the relevant recommendations at the meeting with the representatives of the local government, which places emphasis on solving the living standards of the population and various infrastructural challenges.
