Open Doors Day of the Project Business Incubator Held at CIU

Caucasus International University launches Business Incubator program for the students and alumni of the Faculty of Business. Ms. Irma Makharashvili, the Dean of the Faculty of Law introduced the Open Doors Day within the framework of the program and she briefly highlighted the significance and objectives of the project. In addition, she presented the head of Business Incubator project Marika Aladashvili to the attending audience. The latter discussed in details the specificity of the project, and its significance.

Ms. Marika Kldiashvili remembered the different, original and interesting “Start Ups” based on the last year’s data during the meeting with the students and noted that the project participants will develop in the process of incubation, which will facilitate their future career advancement.

It is noteworthy that a special work space has been allocated for the Business Incubator Project, where the project participants will be able to meet and work together with the mentor.

We would like to remind you that the aim of the business Incubator at facilitating the practical application of the acquired knowledge. Incubation process consists of the following stages:

• Forming teams;
• Selecting business ideas and forming appropriate business models;
• Creating Action and Business Plans in accordance with Business idea;
• Conducting various practical activities under the supervision of a mentor which will facilitate the formation of business product;
• Creating the brand elements of the potential company.

The registration of the students who are interested in the above mentioned project will be held from October 11 to October 26, 2018. The committee will invite short-listed candidates to an interview from October 23 to October 31. The incubation process itself is divided into 3 stages. The results will be analyzed at the end of each stage and the successful teams will move to the next step. The teams that have reached the final stage will present in front of the Committee and the invited guests and the winner will be revealed. The winner team will be awarded a cash prize which will help them in implementing their idea.
