Ms. Lika Ghlonti, coordinator of National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) Georgia payed a working visit to Caucasus International University on December 12, 2018.
The project Ag-Lab/ Improving skills in laboratory practice for agri-food specialists in eastern Europe (Ag-Lab) is implemented with the support of European Union within the framework of Erasmus+ programme.
The aim of the project is to support the improvement of agrarian and food quality control system with the help of European partners preparing/retraining specialists working in testing and diagnostic laboratories of the countries that were recently associated with European Union, in particular Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.
Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Caucasus International University and the Laboratory of the ministry of Agriculture of Georgia are participating in the project on behalf of Georgia.
Coordinators of the above mentioned institutions participated in the current meeting: Ms. Nino Inasaridze –Project Coordinator (TSU), Ms. Ana Gulbani – Project Coordinator (Laboratory) and Ms. Tamar Inasaridze 0 Project Coordinator (CIU). In addition, academic and laboratory staff are also engaged in the project.
The coordinator of National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) Georgia monitored the project: the issues of implementation and recommendations were discussed. The project was assessed positively.
